 CHAMPION PROFILES - Heather Eller

POWDERPUFF - 2023 POINTS CHAMPION AT QLISPE RACEWAY PARK

This is Heather’s sixth year racing for points in Spokane. She was previously the 2019 points champion in the Powderpuff class.

Anything involved in motorsports has always been a passion since she was little, but bracket racing seems to be her favorite. Her husband and kids are out at the track every season with race family.

This year was the most fun having both her son and daughter racing with her and her husband this year. Both kids race in junior street with her son placing third in points and her daughter, Hydee Lyman, winning the championship in that class.

“This year in Powderpuff was the first year of the track re-opening, so it was such an honor to be the first championship winner for Qlispe,” Eller wrote in an email. “I enjoy racing with my Miss Shifter sisters, and we are all are super competitive with each other.”

Never have the standings been so close with a total of just 6 points between the top-3. “We battled it out until the end,” Eller said.

Outside of racing Heather enjoys spending time with her family and 4 kids that keep her plenty busy. That along with working at Nickel’s Worth locally keeping print alive in North Idaho.

Eller thanks her 2023 sponsor, American Eagle Automotive in Rathdrum, Idaho.
