Coming after the success of our first Workforce Development Camp, the latest labor force statistics from the 2019 American Community Survey show that more young people are entering the construction trades. The share of workers under the age of 25 reached 10.8% in the construction industry in 2019, compared to only 9.7% in 2015.

Our mission with the Workforce Camps is to give high school students the options and opportunities to build a rewarding career in the construction industry. Not only is this a rewarding path, the jobs are in strong demand with little barrier to enter the job force.

No four year degree required.

With the summer winding down, and the start of a new school year around the corner, we are looking forward to working with more high schools in our area this upcoming school year.
