ODT – Sue Sestak

Dedicated to all men and women who served in combat and their families who love them. Operation Dog Tag wishes to educate the community of their purpose and asks for help in aiding the returning veterans along with the ones that are already struggling at home.

And we veterans thank you as we continue “Making Man’s Best Friend Even Better For A Veteran” - Joe Scheffer, Director

I am Sue Sestak and this is my service dog “Lady”. Something unbelievable became believable and I must say life saving. Before Joe at “Operation Dog Tag” Lady was so unruly, disobedient and outright obnoxious, which triggered my depression and PTSD even more. I am so glad I contacted Joe Scheffer. With his experience, skill and professionalism in training dogs and working with people, he helped me not only to train Lady but also myself. I now have confidence, leadership and understanding on how to properly handle Lady and now she keeps me focused on the “now”. She is now so obedient, calm-attentive and loyal, (my battle buddy). I also have arthritis and balance issues, Lady is trained to retrieve items and to keep me upright and steady. If it wasn’t for Joe the unbelievable would still be and I would be in a very troubled state of mind.

Thank you, so much Joe,
Sue Sestak / USMC
